In Heisei 11, it became a research institute attached to the University of Akita Prefecture, and with the aim of establishing an ideal circulation system for wood resources, we conduct research and technological development on the basic physical prop-erties, processing, and utilization of wood, and are also working on the development of human resources with high technical skills (master's and doctoral programs). At this institute, full-time faculty members form groups to develop creative project research, and we have a system in place that enables efficient research to be promoted. This is also utilized in the education and support of students, and is useful not only for developing research skills but also for fostering a wide range of insights. In addition, the Akita Prefecture Wood Processing Promotion Organization coex-ists within the institute in order to transfer technology to the private sector and to smoothly obtain various information from the institute.forest resources for demonstrating themultifaceted functions of forestsMultipurpose distribution and utilization system of forest products for regional revitalizationdevelopmentDevelopment of advanced technologies to increase demandDevelopment of new wood materials, structures, and construction methods to create new demandAffiliated Research Laboratories ■Research Building・Laboratory・Electron microscope ・Lounge room・Analysis ・Constant Room temperature and humidity chamber■Main・Library・Training room■Fire Resistance Test Building・North Measurement Room・Laboratory●Director: Katsuhiko Takada● ● ● Aiming to establish an ideal circulatory system for wood resourcesMain research themes● Development of a management system for With the establishment of an ideal circulatory system for wood resources,Contributing to the Future of HumanityAdvanced Wood Processing Research Institute
