神戸大学大学院 国際協力研究科 2027
24/28

I entered GSICS in August 2000 as a JDS Fellow. The two and a half years I spent in Kobe were a wonderful time and a formative period in my life. The experiences I gained during that time continue to shape my professional journey to this day.At GSICS, I acquired not only academic knowledge but also practical insights into the field of economics and international cooperation. Studying alongside peers from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds taught me the importance of mutual respect, open dialogue, and shared purpose. These values have proven essential in my important role in as Vice Minister.Once again, I wish to acknowledge that GSICS is a place where future leaders are nurtured, where ideas are challenged and refined, and where a strong commitment to global cooperation is cultivated. For to make a meaningful contribution to the international community, GSICS provides an ideal environment for growth, learning, and collaboration.I wish to express my sincere gratitude to the Government of Japan and Japanese people for all the support and assistance extended to Lao PDR and Lao people. I would also like to express my special thanks to all professors, staff, friends and my family for your encouragement, meaningful help and supports throughout my stay in Kobe, Japan.those who aspire ラオス人民民主共和国 財務副大臣Vice Minister of Finance, The Lao People’s Democratic Republic修士(経済学)(2003年3月)Master of Economics (March 2003)タイ王国 国立タマサート大学 学長・教授Rector and Professor, Thammasat University, Thailand博士(政治学)2004年9月) Doctor of Political Science (September 2004)23GSICSでの学びは、世界とつながるキャリアの第一歩です。本研究科の修了生たちは、国際機関、政府機関、民間企業、研究機関など多様な分野で活躍しています。Looking back, choosing GSICS at Kobe University was one of the best decisions I made. It is more than just a graduate school— it is a place where theory meets practice, where classroom learning is constantly connected to real-world challenges. One thing that makes GSICS special is its diverse community. You will study alongside classmates from all over the world, each bringing unique perspectives and experiences. The professors, too, come from various backgrounds, always pushing you to think beyond your field and see the bigger picture.GSICS is truly interdisciplinary— whether your interest is in international development, economics, or policy-making, you will gain insights that go beyond textbooks. The discussions, group projects, and research opportunities here will challenge and inspire you.If you are looking for a place to grow, connect, and make an impact, you have found it.
