An abundant supply of pure water from mountains is making it a vital resource for Toyama industries and daily life. You can enjoy delicious food such as tasty rice, fresh seafood, and so many more. Transportation is well developed, and the cost of living is relatively cheap. Toyama is a nice place to live.富山のココがお気に入り The reason why I like ToyamaBecause I was interested in medicine, I chose to study in Toyama where it has a long history of the pharmaceutical industry, Moreover, my father used to work in Toyama and that made me feel very close to this place. In my first year, I had a chance to visit a pharmaceutical company and talk to the people who work there. This experience deepened my interest in medicine even more. The University is surrounded by rice fields and I get amazed by its beautiful scenery in each season. In my free time, I enjoy skiing and go to the Outlet mall or Kanazawa for shopping I’d like to try and experience things that I can do only in Toyama.Life Sciences and Bioengineering (2nd year) MUTO Yuka (From Hokkaido)東京の高専を卒業し3年に編入しました。高専でAIの勉強をしていたので、より深めたいという思いがあったのと、子どものころから医療系にも興味があり、医療と情報の両方を研究している富山大学に進学しました。現在は、医学部と共同での研究にも取り組んでいます。駅から大学へのアクセスもいいし、東京まで新幹線で2時間と帰省しやすいのも魅力です。大学の周辺にはスーパーなどもあって生活に不便は感じません。新鮮な魚の美味しさにはびっくりしました。知能情報工学科4年 栁沢 和樹さん（神奈川県出身）生命工学科2年 武藤 有花さん（北海道出身）I graduated from a technical college in Tokyo and transferred to the third year of the University. I chose the University of Toyama because I wanted to deepen my knowledge about AI which I had studied at the college, and I found it to be one of the best place to study both medical and information. Medical study is something I’ve always been interested in I am currently working on joint research with the medical department. Great access from Toyama station and it only takes 2 hours to Tokyo by shinkansen. I find it very convenient to live around the University. There are supermarkets close by and I was amazed by the taste of fresh fish in Toyama!Intellectual Information Engineering (4th year) YANAGISAWA Kazuki (From Kanagawa)薬に興味があったので、昔から製薬産業が盛んな富山の大学を選びました。父が以前単身赴任していたことがあり、富山に親しみを持っていたこともあります。1年次に製薬会社を見学し、先輩にお話を聞いて、さらに興味が深まりました。大学の周辺は田んぼに囲まれていて、季節ごとのきれいな風景に感動しました。趣味のスキーも楽しめますし、休日にはアウトレットや金沢へ遊びに行くこともあります。せっかく富山に来たのだから、富山でしかできないことを経験したいと思っています。富山大学工学部で学ぶつよみ11
