7Faculty教員紹介■In this course, students will learn how to write essays, do research, synthesize ideas, and avoid plagiarism by using citations and references. I supervise topics related to national identity, party politics, democratic systems as well as digital democracy in East Asian countries. Although I respect students’ research interests, I would recommend regression analysis. In order for students to complete dissertations based on empirical evidence, I advise systematically on setting up basic and working hypotheses, resource and data collection, data analysis, and hypothesis testing. 投票率などを用いた公共選択の理論に関する研究や世論調査データを用いた生活の質に関する研究などの分野から、学生の関心に基づいて研究指導を行う。その際、回帰分析を用いた実証的な研究を行うことを学生に推奨する。指導のあり方としては、作業仮説と基本仮説の関係から文献収集やデータ収集、データ分析、仮説検定などを含み、実証的な論文を作成できるようになるための体系的な指導をする。
