I place great importance on international experience. From 2016 to 2017, I participated an exchange program in South Korea, and in 2018, I took part in Model-UN and Model-UNESCO, where I developed leadership and negotiation skills through discussions on international issues. In 2019, I interned at the government palace and was involved in diplomacy. Through these experiences, I developed a deep interest in the diplomatic relationship between Mongolia and Japan. Given that the most significant aspect of Japan’s foreign policy towards Mongolia is ODA, I am strongly motivated to study international development policy. The reason I chose Niigata Prefecture University was because it offers courses in English, alongside Japanese, and provides an environment where I can learn about international development. Although I initially had concerns about moving to Niigata, where I did not know anyone, thanks to the support of my professors and classmates, I am enjoying fulfilling and enriching days.After studying abroad in South Korea during my senior year of college, I decided to enroll at UNP because I thought that in order to understand bilateral relations between Japan and South Korea, it was necessary to understand international relations in East Asia from a more macro perspective. Most lectures are given in small groups, and students actively exchange opinions with professors and classmates. The opinions of classmates with different backgrounds and fields of interest lead to new insights, and every day I feel that I am learning. There's a good environment for developing language skills, and I'm actively working to improve my language proficiency.Nowadays, we can access a lot of information about internationalissues, but it is not always enough to capture the essence of the problem. Since I sometimes feel like I'm exposed to biased statistics and information, I decided to enroll at UNP and think about international issues to form an objective point of view. Due to small classes, I have enough opportunities to discuss topics with classmates and get feedback from professors that support my study. Balancing study and a job make me busy, but I'm very excited about pursuing whatever I'm interested in, and I really appreciate this environment. 13モンゴル出身International student from Mongolia中央大学出身Graduated from Chuo University新潟県庁勤務Niigata Prefectural Governmentだけ客観的な視点で国際関係を捉えてみたいと思い入学私は国際的な経験を重視しており、2016年から2017年に韓国に交換留学、2018年には模擬国連や模擬ユネスコに参加し、国際問題に関する議論を通じてリーダーシップや交渉力を養いました。2019年には政府宮殿でインターンシップを経験し、外交に携わりました。これらの経験を通じて、モンゴルと日本の外交関係に深い興味を抱くようになりました。モンゴルに対する日本の外交政策の中で、特に重要な分野はODAであることから、国際開発政策について学びたいと強く考えています。新潟県立大学を選んだ決め手は、日本語とともに、英語で授業を受けられることや国際開発について学べる環境があったことです。知り合いのいない新潟へ移ることに不安はありましたが、先生方やクラスメイトからのサポートのおかげで、毎日楽しく、充実した日々を過ごしています。大学4年時の韓国留学をきっかけに、日韓の二国間関係を理解するには、よりマクロな視点である、東アジアの国際関係について理解することが必要だと考え、入学を決めました。本研究科は少人数の講義がほとんどで、先生方やクラスメートと活発に意見交換を行います。バックグラウンドや、関心分野が異なるクラスメートの意見は、新たな気づきに繋がり、学びを実感する毎日です。また、語学力を養う環境も整っており、積極的に語学力向上に取り組んでいます。国際問題について、メディアから得られる情報だけでは問題の本質や国内の考え方は見えにくく感じるため、できるしました。授業は少人数制のため、他の院生と議論できる場も十分にあり、教員からの指導も充実しています。仕事をしながら通学することは忙しくもありますが、再び学生に戻り、自分の興味・関心を自由に追究できる時間は充実しており、ありがたく思っています。院生紹介 Current Students
