（特徴と強み等）（社会活動特許等取得状況産学連携・技術移転の対応等）LanguageEducation,TESOL・Englishprogramdevelopment:Qualityassurance・GlobalizationanddifferentaspectsofEnglish・Promotingautonomouslanguagelearningthroughlearningcommunity#Languageeducation#Qualityassuranceineducation#Autonomouslanguagelearning#Learningcommunity#GlobalizationJALT,JACET,BALEAPAsthecoordinatoroftheEnglishProgram(EPUU),IstrivetobuildaprogressiveEnglishprogramthatemphasizesbothintegrationanddiversity.みむらちえこ2024年3月更新MyresearchwithinUtsunomiyaUniversity’sEnglishProgram(EPUU)encompassesadiverserangeofactivities.MyprimarygoalistoshapeacomprehensiveEnglishprogramthatdeliversoptimallanguageeducation.ThisinvolvesstudyingthecurrenttrendsinEnglisheducation,analyzinggovernmentpoliciesrelatedtoeducation,andexploringtheimpactsofglobalizationonlanguagelearning.Collaboratively,IworkcloselywithEPUUteachersonvariousfronts,includingEnglishforGeneralAcademicPurposes(EGAP),integratingmultimodalteachingapproaches,andpromotingautonomouslanguagelearningthroughcommunity-basedactivities.教育・研究活動の紹介Inmyteachingrole,IintegrateEGAPintotheliteracyEnglishclassesofEPUU,whichemphasizereadingandwritingskills.Additionally,Idirectandco-teachtheliberaleducationcourse"DifferentAspectsofEnglish"withfellowEPUUteachers.Thiscoursecoversawidespectrumoftopics,frombrainfunctioninlanguagelearningtointerculturalcommunication,globalization,WorldEnglishes,andthesocietalimpactsofEnglish.Thecourseprovidesaholisticapproachtounderstandinglanguageanditsdiverseroles.Mycurrentresearchfocusesonanalyzinggovernmentpoliciesconcerningqualityassurance,visibleoutcomes,andstudent-centerededucation.Specifically,I'minterestedinimplementingthesepolicieseffectivelywithintheEPUUframeworkforEGAPeducation.Additionally,I'mcurrentlyinvolvedincollaborativeresearchwithmycolleaguesatEPUU,focusingonexploringtheinstructors’perceptionsandexperiencesrelatedtotheincorporationofvideomaterialinourreadingandwritingclasses.今後の展望Insteadofconcentratingonspecificareas,Imaintainabroadperspectiveonvariousaspectsoflanguageteachingandlearning.Thisapproachallowsmetoidentifyareasforimprovementandreinforcement,contributingtotheongoingdevelopmentofaprogressiveEnglishprogram.I'mparticularlyinterestedinfosteringcollaborationswithotheruniversitiesinJapan,buildinguponourexistingconnectionswithuniversitiesinthenorthernKantoregion.Moreover,Iseegreatpotentialforpartnershipswithinstitutionsoverseas,especiallyinMalaysiaandthePhilippines.Lookingahead,IplantoengageinclassroomactionresearchwithEPUUcolleagues.Throughthesecollaborativeefforts,mygoalistodevelopamoreintegratedEGAPprogram,therebyenhancingthequalityandeffectivenessofEnglisheducationhereatUtsunomiyaUniversity.社会貢献等分野研究テーマキーワード所属学会等特記事項URL: -Mail: chiekomimura[at]cc.utsunomiya-u.ac.jp研究概要TEL:028-649-5080基盤教育センター教授三村千恵子EPUU
